The Value Of Good Publicity
I’ve been thinking a lot about rodents. About how, just like people, they are judged, liked or disliked, based on just two factors: public perception and appearance. What seems most unfair is that some rodents seem to get showered with goodwill and positive publicity and it proves one of life’s great injustices, that is, it’s not who you are or what you can do that matters, rather it’s how the outside world perceives you.
You Meet The Nicest People …
… When you read the obituaries. Well, how else is someone with my limited social skills supposed to meet people? Sometimes the obits are paid for but when someone’s deemed important someone at the paper writes a story. These little word-filled tombstones are always at the back of the paper, like, after we’ve told you about everything that’s gonna kill you, here’s today’s death toll.
