We’re all in this together. Never has a bigger lie been perpetrated on the American public. The very nature of the government’s attempt to deal with the flu has created the complete opposite – we’re not all this together, rather it’s every man for himself. The government and the media are in a frantic race, an outrageous game of one-upmanship, to see who can advance the direst news and opinions. This has driven the population into hiding, making every human being an island. Nothing could be more contrary to togetherness.
If we were all in this together, then ideas of every kind would be considered and encouraged, but the way it stands today, only one concept can exist – it’s called fear-mongering, panic, overreaction. If anyone dares put forth a note of optimism he shall be shouted down, called irresponsible and dangerous.
What we have here is political correctness gone nuclear. By definition political correctness is groupthink, massive waves of citizens adopting a single point of view (brainwashed) – typically provided to them by the media and the liberal government – and then labeling any dissenting opinion radical, unamerican and, usually, hateful and racist.
In this case, wanting to get back to normal life will be met with name-calling. Asking hard questions about this life-ruining economic disaster will be deemed inappropriate. Exercising your civil liberties or talking about such will bring shaming. Political correctness has led to the closing of churches and parks and tiny little businesses that were already serving customers one at a time and ball fields and the ocean – they closed the fuckin’ ocean! Is that not a clear sign that society has become unhinged?
The press has literally been turned into a disgraceful mouthpiece of the doomsday crowd, slanting every correspondence with sensational horror stories beyond all reasonable proportion. Everything is intended to instill fear, using the terms pandemic and virus and social fucking distancing as many times in a sentence as humanly possible.
Wearing masks is intended to divide us. People with masks become non-humans, faceless carriers of the plague. They are sheep. They want you to know that they are better citizens than you, more responsible than you. They are in fact little robots controlled by hysteria and completely willing to surrender their brains to their government.
At some point the citizenry will become bitter and resentful at needlessly surrendering their rights and their financial security and their mental stability, for letting the government, the same government that can’t screw in a light bulb, irrevocably change the fabric of society.
Until then, remember, it’s every man for himself.
